At the age of 35, Sushila was mother to already 3 grown up children. She comes from economically weak family background. Her husband passed away when her last child her son was a day old her. She started working as domestic help in houses to support her and her family living. One day after a couple of years of her husband's demise, when she was waiting in hospital for her turn for check up with doctor, she noticed some object moving in the dustbin close by. Out of curiosity, she went closer to inspect. She was shell shocked to see a new born baby girl dumped there. She looked around for help and tried her best to identify through local administration but in vain. She without a second thought, brought that baby girl home and took a bold decision to give the child a proper home and adopt her knowing fully well the complications that may arise with 3 grown up children apart being a single mother and not much earning opportunity. The little girl is now grown up and studying in class IX without any differentiation or discrimination. For better opportunities, the family moved to Gurgaon. Out of the 3 children, the son is employed as a driver and two daughters are married.
