A young boy of 9th standard, Dinesh Richard says this to Mr.A.P Kanna and the father hugs him with tears rolling down his cheeks. As a then Governor of Rotary Dist 3230, Kanna, took up a challenge of conducting free heart surgeries for as many, last year. He could conduct 538 such surgeries, costing almost around 10 crores. This little boy, whose father is just a mechanic in a small firm, earning a living, hand to mouth, was suffering from a fatal heart ailment. He was one amongst the 538 patients who underwent treatment last year. Kanna feels, Service to humanity is service to god....!
