Mr. M.V. Ramani, a retired staff from a school at Chennai, has authored a book titled, 'Senior Citizens' Guide' in association with Chennai City Police and distributed, free of cost to around 400 senior citizens. The book lists ways to prevent chit fund frauds, e-mail crimes and ways to avoid accidents and stress, alertness needed while withdrawing money from ATMs, list of records that every family must maintain, important telephone numbers, details of hospitals and doctors etc. Mr. Ramani, always thinks about others' welfare. He also willingly helps elderly people, in need. Besides all this, worth mentioning is his community service of organising to cremate unclaimed bodies.
