History :

"R. K Sahu was a part of the Mi-17 whose squadron leader was Rajiv Pundir. Their sacrifice played an important part in the capturing of the icy heights of Tololing. The crew had dared the enemy on several occasions during the two previous days flying nine strike-missions before finally embracing martyrdom. He was awarded the Vayu Sena Medal for gallantry."
