History :

"He always had a desire to serve his country and left a course in engineering to join the army. He attained martyrdom while fighting Afghan millitants in Gandoh area of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir. He was to be married on the 27th of November, 1995. His parents have started a Shahid Capt. Rohit Trust which gives financial asistance to poor and deserving students. He was awarded a Sena medal posthumously."
